MMLD Founder and CNS Foundation Co-Founder, Rebecca Mailloux, is a lymphatic dysfunction educator as well as a medical practice and pathology laboratory consultant and has been providing MMLD since 1995. With over 55,000 patient hours and 1M lives touched, Rebecca Mailloux’ dynamic background and commitment to responsible scientific advancement awards a comprehensive approach to humancare.
Rebecca is trained in the original method of Manual Lymph Drainage, developed by Drs. Vodder in 1936. She is certified in Edema-Lymphedema Management Decongestive Compression Physiotherapy and is a licensed Emergency Medical Technician.
Rebecca began practicing lymphatic care as a Physical Therapy Assistant in an industrial rehabilitation clinic and after working with a patient base of diverse injuries, developed Mailloux Method Lymph Drainage therapy approach to scar tissue recovery and immune optimization.

LABORATORY MEDICINE
Rebecca served the anatomic pathology laboratory medical community for 20 years; 10 years as a technician + 10 years as COO. She guest lectured at Cuesta College Human Anatomy Lab and was Executive Committee member on the Santa Barbara County Consortium for CME, supporting dermatopathology academic activity on the Central Coast of California. Rebecca also assisted in the manuscript preparation of Morphologic Analysis of Dry Bone Specimens for publication in the International Journal of Paleopathology.
As enthusiasts of Pilates and in alignment with Joseph Pilates’ rehabilitative work with prisoners of war, Rebecca co-developed specific joint mobility and Pilates-inspired programing to increase lymphatic flow, FluidFit Method TM. Additionally, Rebecca and her husband are civilian Emergency Medical Technicians.
We support Aerial Recovery and their Humanitarian Special Operator efforts of repurposing veterans and first responders globally to provide disaster relief aid. ACADEMIC AFFILIATION
Rebecca is a member of the International Cardio-Oncology Society and served on the Executive Committee for Lymphedema Seminars. In affiliation with the Hearst Cancer Resource Center, Central Coast Medical Association and the National Lymphedema Network, the committee supports healthcare professionals regarding lymphatic dysfunction and the management of lymphedema.
Rebecca instructed the American Cancer Society/Arroyo Grande Community Hospital outreach training program for the newly diagnosed and presented a lymphatic dysfunction case at the Sixth Annual International National Lymphedema Network Conference.

CNS Foundation Co-Founder, Mindy Esau, is trained in Mailloux Method Lymph Drainage Therapy and holds a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Physiology.
With a foundation in cytology and rehabilitative physical therapy, Mindy brings a unique blend of expertise and 30 years of implementing multiple modalities in education, program development, and fitness training. As a national presenter, Mindy bridges the gap in education between the fitness industry and rehabilitative recovery.
She is a Program Specialist for FitPro Programming Master Trainer. Mindy is certified through NASM and Mobility Fitness Academy, and additionally comprehensively trained in Stott Pilates, TRX, Yogafit, and Schwinn.

REHABILITATIVE MEDICINE
Mindy began providing clinical physical therapy in 1995 and continues to contract outpatient and home rehabilitative care. She was the clinical aquatic program director for orthopedic rehabilitation as well as the fitness director for multiple corporations, later opening her own boutique fitness studio. Additionally, Mindy instructed Human Anatomy at Las Positas College.

Mindy is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and affiliated with the American College of Sports Medicine, American Council on Exercise, and IDEA Health and Fitness Association. Mindy presents academic sessions on NeuroPlasticity and has instructed back/shoulder rehabilitation workshops throughout California for 30+ years.
